It’s Finally Here: Rowena’s Song is Off to the Printer!

Hello, fabulous readers!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that I am literally dancing around my house right now? I’m not talking about some forgettable Tuesday two-step; I’m talking full-on disco fever! Why, you ask? Because I’ve just hit a monumental milestone in my writing journey, and I am absolutely bursting with excitement!

I DID IT!!!

That’s right, folks! My beloved novel, Rowena’s Song, is officially off to IngramSpark for proof copies. This baby has been nine years brewing in the cauldron of my creativity, and I can finally say that I’m ready to unleash the magic (and a sprinkle of drama) onto the world.

Now listen, there’s been some ups and downs along the way. In fact, at one point, I flopped my debut like I was auditioning for a reality show called "Worst Author Ever." Let’s just say I let my inner chicken out to play, deleting all of the steamy scenes because I was too scared to let my family read my literary love letters. But not anymore, honey! I’ve embraced my inner badass!

Here’s what I’ve accomplished to bring this passion project to life:

Things I Nailed (and danced about!):

• Accepted all of my editor’s genius notes
• Reshaped Rowena’s internal arc like a sculptor with clay
• Embraced Atticus (the layout software, not my ex) to whip my manuscript into shape
• Laid out 450 glorious pages of fantasy romance—yes, it’s a hefty read, but it’s worth it!
• Created a kickass family tree to keep my characters and their drama in line
• Verified family connections with historical figures—don’t ask me how long that took!
• Designed said family tree in Canva because I have taste, darling!
• Purchased 10 ISBNs from Bowker—because who needs just one? You know I’m ready to proliferate my artistic genius!
• Danced my butt off while channeling last night’s Pisces new moon energy—seriously, watch out world!

What’s Next?

Okay, we’re not going to pretend I’ll jump straight into writing tips or reviews today. I mean, have you seen how much candle wax I’ve burned at both ends? I’ve poured my heart and soul into bringing Rowena’s Song into the world, and I’m riding this creative high straight through the weekend.
